Why Signal

Today, political vitriol and conflicting messaging are making a lot of noise about how to mitigate climate change. This makes it hard to determine the best course of action to effect change.

Signal began by interviewing leaders and experts in their fields on the climate reality. They all echoed the same sentiment: the best way to make big change is to enact sound economy-wide policy. Passing good policy today, we learned, is about reducing government intervention down the road in the form of disaster relief, mitigating large-scale migration and many other economic tolls.

In order to get policy passed, people in power must take action. As one of Colorado’s largest and most influential industries, tech can make a big impact. But it hasn’t been an influential voice on the climate advocacy scene as of yet.

At Signal, we’re creating a platform for Colorado’s tech leaders to advocate for economic climate policy.

We exist to break down the data, find the Signal in the noise, and clear the way for our tech leaders to make an impact.
